Old Crow Medicine Show will embark on a lengthy tour this summer when they hit the road in support of their first album in four years, Volunteer. Slated for release on Friday, April 20th, the record was produced by Dave Cobb, the in-demand Nashville producer behind recent albums from Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlisle, and Jason Isbell.
Old Crow Medicine Show will kick off their summer run on May 25th with a show at the Banjo BQ Music Festival in Evans, GA. The group will then swing through much of the South, Midwest, and Northeast over the course of the next two months before heading to Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheater on August 17th. The upcoming summer tour includes a number of a festival appearance, including stops at Bonnaroo, DelFest, FloydFest, and four editions of Willie Nelson’s touring Outlaw Music Festival.
Additionally, Old Crow Medicine Show just put out “Whirlwind”, the second single from Volunteer. The tune debuted on Rolling Stone Country earlier today, along with a new feature on the forthcoming album.
