On May 15th, OSEES made their headlining debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, full-show video of which is available now on YouTube. The John Dwyer-led underground staples performed for a socially distant crowd of 2,500 as the iconic Morrison, CO venue slowly reopens.

The Red Rocks show came as the first of the band’s 2021 North American tour, which picks back up on September 7th with a two-night run at The Chapel in San Francisco. With Red Rocks’ capacity slashed from nearly 10,000 down to 2,500, it delivered OSEES a unique opportunity to perform at such a storied venue.

Keenly aware of the significance of the performance, OSEES took the opportunity to deliver the live debuts of several songs, including “Scutum & Scorpius”, “Holy Smoke”, “Fortress”, and “Palace Doctor”. Of note, the band shied away from digging into the four albums they released during quarantine and instead explored the rest of their expansive catalog.

“We’re OSEES from Los Angeles and we missed you guys a fuckin’ bunch,” Dwyer told the crowd to start the show. “Dig in and welcome back.”
