Last week, Oteil Burbridge took part in the all-star virtual tribute to Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter as part of 11E1even Group‘s Live From Out There streaming series, which saw the Dead & Company bassist show off his piano and singing skills for the first time ever with renditions of the songs originally penned by the Grateful Dead guitarist and his lifelong collaborator.

Burbridge has now shared the full video of his performances in tribute to Garcia and Hunter as seen on the webcast, which includes lovely at-home renditions of “To Lay Me Down”, “So Many Roads”, “It Must Have Been The Roses”, “Brokedown Palace”, and “High Time”.

The Garcia/Hunter tribute appearance followed Oteil’s previous performance on Live From Out There, where he delivered a piano-based cover in tribute to the late Bill Withers, who died earlier this month.

The video, which features the performances of all five songs for a total runtime of just under 30 minutes, also features a guest appearance from guitarist Eric Krasno. All five edited video performances do a wonderful job in showcasing Oteil’s all-around musical talents which stretch much further than just his phenomenal bass playing abilities.
