Oteil Burbridge will host his second “Ask Me Anything” Q&A session on Reddit later this month. The Dead & Company bassist and his wife Jess Burbridge will team up for the conversation, which is slated to take place on the r/gratefuldead page at 6pm ET on Friday, May 25th. The news was revealed on Wednesday via his Instagram.
Burbridge, an accomplished bassist who toured with the Allman Brothers Band, Aquarium Rescue Unit, and numerous other projects before co-founding Dead & Company, hosted his first AMA last summer. A variety of topics were addressed during that discussion, including the difference between Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead, the “Let Oteil Sing” campaign, Bob Weir’s iPad, playing with Col. Bruce Hampton, and much more.
Burbridge’s AMA session will take place just a few days before Dead & Company returns to the road for their summer tour. As previously reported, the outing will kick off on May 30th at the Xfinity Center in Manfield, MA.
