Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge is spending New Year’s Eve in the northeast! Burbridge has assembled a stellar crew for the four-night run, including keyboardist Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), guitarists Eric Krasno (Lettuce/Soulive) and John Kadlecik (Furthur, Dark Star Orchestra), drummer Jay Lane (Furthur Primus), vocalist Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), and percussionist Weedie Braimah (Trombone Shorty, The Nth Power).

On December 27th, Oteil & Friends will perform at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. Then, they’ll head to the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia to support Gov’t Mule on December 28th. From there, Oteil & Friends will return to The Capitol Theatre on December 29th, before throwing it down at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl on December 30th and 31st with special guests Jen Hartswick and Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band) on trumpet, trombone, and vocals. For the band’s forthcoming New York dates to ring in 2019, Oteil & Friends will also be supported by visual artist Johnathan Singer, who will lend his legendary visuals to the mix.

Today, Oteil Burbridge announced intimate VIP experiences at Garcia’s at the Capitol Theatre on December 27th and 29th. The VIP Experience and Pre-Party will include an exclusive set joined by John Kadlecik, early entry to The Cap, a commemorative VIP laminate, a limited edition screen print poster–signed by Oteil himself–and more. A separate ticket is still required for The Cap show.
