Ever since the legendary duo Outkast returned to the stage earlier this year in celebration of their 20th anniversary, there has been speculation about whether they might return to their hometown for a show. Finally the rumors have been confirmed, Outkast having revealed big plans to return to their hometown of Atlanta for a show September 27th at Centennial Olympic Park. While they will be headlining, there are also several unknown “special guests” that will be appearing with them that are to be announced in the coming weeks.
Big Boi has shown his excitement and desire to say thank you to the town that they rose up in, saying, “It’s only right that we give the hometown what we’ve been giving the rest of the world, Atliens in ATL, homecoming! Festival Killers!”
Tickets for their homecoming extravaganza go on sale to the public June 18 at 10am via Ticketmaster. There has also been a website made specifically for announcements and news related to the event.
