Outside Magazine has announced the initial music lineup for its inaugural Outside Festival, due to bring a number of notable acts to Denver, CO’s Civic Center Park on June 1st and 2nd, 2024.

On Saturday, June 1st, Outside Festival will kick off with performances by Thundercat, Lettuce, and Say She She. On Sunday, June 2nd, Fleet Foxes will lead the way alongside Andrew Bird and The Heavy Heavy. Additional artists are due to be added as the event approaches.

In addition to live music Outside Festival will feature and “Ideas Summit” featuring speakers like decorated snowboarders Shaun White and Jeremy Jones, world champion swimmer Diana Niad, film director Malik Tha Martian, and many more.

Colorado governor Jared Polis and Denver mayor Mike Johnston on Tuesday helped announce the inaugural festival, which will be presented in partnership between Outside Interactive Inc., the State of Colorado’s Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, and Visit Denver.

“Colorado’s great outdoors are part of who we are, and our thriving outdoor recreation industry is not only a lot of healthy fun, but also an economic engine for our state,” Polis said during a press conference. “The Outside Festival will be a celebration of outdoor recreation and help grow this important part of our economy and lifestyle, while introducing more Coloradans to the benefits of spending time outside.”

“We’re on a mission to get everyone outside and to inspire, educate, and activate more people to experience everything the outdoors has to offer,” Outside CEO Robin Thurston added.
