If you told us last week, there would only be a couple of shows to see on Halloween in New York City due to weather, we’d laugh, show you our Live Music Halloween Guide, make a cheeky comment about New Yorkers’ resolve, and send you on your way.  However, with the amount of postponed and cancelled shows for the next few weeks, it seems like there is little to do in New York City.  Time Square is empty, the city is dark, and the city that never sleeps feels like it took an ambien.

Luckily, all is not lost.  For those of us who can’t go a Halloween without live music, there is still some hope. Page McConnell and members of The Original Meters have decided not to cancel their show at B.B. Kings Blues Club. Tomorrow’s Metermen show is still on schedule as planned.

The show starts at 8 pm and previously sold out tickets have now been rereleased here.  To keep in spirit with Halloween, Magic Hat will be giving one lucky costumed phan a “really sweet guitar” for their costume contest.

When else are you going to get to see such an intimate show with Page McConnell and members of The Original Meters?
