On Friday, the jamtronica all-stars of Papadosio announced that they have a new studio album in the works dubbed Content Coma, which is due out on September 7th. The album follows up 2016’s Pattern Integrities as well an official Patterns Integrities remix album, which featured remixes from the likes of Bluetech, Kalya Scintilla, Soulcybin, and others.

Fans have been hopeful that the Asheville, North Carolina-based jam act has been in the studio and recording new music. The group is sounding tighter than ever in live performances, and earlier in June, the group premiered a new studio track, “Distress Signal” with Live For Live Music, starting the buzz about potential new music on the horizon.

Per a note issued by the band on using a professional recording studio for this new album,

We have self recorded and produced all of our releases in order to make the final product as unique and personal as possible. By recording the raw drum tracks in a professional setting, it really opened up the sonic range of what we had to work with while mixing. With each album, our sound progresses and we think this album is a generous step forward in our songwriting, our production techniques and our sonic palette.

In addition to the official announcement for the forthcoming Content Coma, Papadosio released the second single off the album, “Pool Of Stars”, confirming that the previously released “Distress Signal” will be making an appearance on the band’s newest studio work.
