Iconic singer-songwriter Paul Simon has announced a 20-date North American tour set to take place throughout June and July of 2026. The amphitheater trek will continue his acclaimed A Quiet Celebration Tour [ticketing information].
Simon’s A Quiet Celebration Tour shows are presented in two parts. The first act features a full performance of Seven Psalms, the 33-minute, continuous composition he released in 2023. After a brief intermission, Simon returns to the stage for a career-spanning set that blends beloved classics with deep cuts, highlighting the remarkable breadth of his catalog.
The touring band includes Simon’s wife and New Bohemians frontwoman Edie Brickell (vocals), Mark Stewart (guitar), Bakithi Kumalo (bass), Andy Snitzer (saxophone), Jamey Haddad (percussion), Mick Rossi (piano, keys), Gyan Riley (guitar), Matt Chamberlin (drums), Nancy Stagnitta (flute), Caleb Burhans (viola), and Eugene Friesen (cello).
Simon and company will make stops at a number of notable open-air venues during the newly announced run including Stanford, CA’s Frost Amphitheater (6/4), Los Angeles, CA’s Hollywood Bowl (6/7), Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (6/12, 6/13), Cuyahoga Falls, OH’s Blossom Music Center (6/23), Lenox, MA’s Tanglewood (6/27), Bethel, NY’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (7/3), Philadelphia, PA’s The Mann Center (7/5), and Forest Hills Stadium in his native Queens, NY (7/8).
Various pre-sales for the newly announced Paul Simon 2026 tour dates will take place on Wednesday, February 4th at 10:00 a.m. local venue time. Remaining tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 6th at 10:00 a.m. local venue time. Scroll down for complete ticketing details by date.
The concept for A Quiet Celebration dates back to 2023, when Simon first reported via the documentary In Restless Dreams that he had only 6% hearing capacity remaining in his left ear, casting any potential future live shows into question. “I guess what I’m most apprehensive about would be if I can’t hear well enough to really enjoy the act of making music,” Simon said during the interview.

But Simon’s excitement about Seven Psalms, recorded on acoustic instruments and devised as a single piece of continuous music in seven movements, inspired him to figure out a way to make performing it live viable (he has often said that “the listener completes the song”). Together with the Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss and his own production team, Simon redesigned his entire stage setup to make performing possible, including adding extra monitors surrounding him to help him hear what he’s playing.
“He’s learned to make adjustments,” CBS News noted. “He’s switched to larger speakers, placing them all around him when he’s playing so he can hear better. He’s also had to change how and what he plays.”
Prior to the newly announced run, Paul Simon will embark on a lengthy tour of Europe and the U.K. in April and May.
