PhanArt is bringing not one, but two awesome events to New York City as part of this year’s Phish New Years Eve run. Taking place at Hotel Penn on 12/29 and American Beauty NYC on 12/30, the events will be the go to pre-show gatherings for all Phish phans. There’s something for everyone at PhanArt, whether you are a serious collector, casually browsing, or just looking for a place to hang with your friends pre-show and check out some fan-made art.
Now, PhanArt has announced the artists who will showcase their work at each event. The show at Hotel Penn on December 29th will feature returning artists The Art of Ryan Kerrigan, Isadora Bullock, Brian Bojo, Stupindous Creations, The Overhead View, Setlist Tees, Jerry4theKids, Original Bootleg, Ariane Davis, Phunk Your Face, Blazin Donuts, His End was the Road, Fred Sutter, and Pop Pop’s Terrapin Station, while first time PhanArt contributors Funky B Boutique, Paul Dilena Designs, East Coasters, Lady with a Phan, 415HolyguyArt, Baba Cool, and BagiTagit will all make their PhanArt debuts at the Hotel Penn. Fans will be able to ship their purchases home directly from the event, a first for PhanArt.
December 30th’s show at American Beauty NYC will feature a different kind of PhanArt event, with two sets of live music from Formula 5, a full slate of artists on the second floor of the venue, three bars running throughout the multi-level venue, and free pizza offered with every drink purchased. The artists participating in the American Beauty show will include The Art of Ryan Kerrigan, MYFE. Designs, Funky B Boutique, The Overhead View, Phunk Your Face, Original Bootleg, Pop Pop’s Terrapin Station, and 415HolyguyArt. While some artists will be at both PhanArt events, artists will feature different art on each day, making for a unique experience for fans that come to both events.
