With less than two weeks until the second installment of Sunday Daydream, Terrapin Crossroads Presents announced Phil Lesh will join the Terrapin All-Stars lineup, who will headline the one-day festival on August 27th at Stafford Lake Park in Novato, CA.
The Grateful Dead bassist will play alongside a lineup comprised of his son Grahame Lesh, Trey Anastasio Band‘s Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman, and Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith, Griffin Goldsmith, Lee Pardini, and Trevor Menear. Phil Lesh previously made a surprise appearance at the inaugural Sunday Daydream, which took place last month.
“We were considering keeping this a secret until the day of the festival,” organizers said in a statement posted to social media, “but Phil couldn’t wait to tell you all that he will absolutely be joining all of us at Stafford Lake Park for Sunday Daydream Vol. 2! Phil is tanned, rested and ready to lead the entire Terrapin All-Stars set, which already features members of Dawes, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, & Grahame Lesh. We’ll see you at the park!”
In addition to the Terrapin All-Stars, Sunday Daydream Vol. 2 will also feature sets by Melvin Seals & JGB, Nicki Bluhm, Scott Law & Ross James, and Moonalice, plus the “Keep It Weird” bar stage, with local favorites San Geronimo, The Incubators, and a special set headlined by Mark Karan and Alex Jordan. The family-friendly event will offer fun for the whole family with the Camp Terrapin Kid Zone, local food vendors including Amy’s Drive Thru, Rocco’s Pizza, and much more.
Tickets for Sunday Daydream Vol. 2 are on sale now. For more information, visit the festival website.
