In 2009, famous producer Phil Spector was sentenced to 19 years in prison, for the murder of singer Lana Clarkson. Thanks to a mugshot image uploaded by The Smoking Gun, we can see that five years in prison has not treated Spector very well.
Spector has worked with just about everyone, rising to prominence with his Wall of Sound production technique with various girl groups, and eventually, The Beatles. However, things turned ugly for Spector in 2003, after he was accused of shooting and killing Lana Clarkson. He was convicted in 2009, and has been incarcerated ever since.
While his latest mugshot isn’t pretty, this isn’t the first time that Spector’s appearance has made headlines.
