Phish will head out on a brief 2023 fall tour making stops in Nashville, Dayton, and Chicago, the band announced on Tuesday.
The eight-date outing will begin on October 6th, 7th, and 8th with a three-night run at Nashville, TN’s Bridgestone Arena and end the following weekend with a three-night stint at Chicago, IL’s United Center on October 13th, 14th, and 15th. The 2023 fall runs will mark the first-ever Phish shows at both of those arenas. Phish’s last Nashville performances came by way of a two-night run at Ascend Amphitheater in 2021, while the band has not played in Chicago proper since its three-night run at Northerly Island six summers ago, and has not been back to the Chicago area since stopping at Rosemont, IL’s Allstate Arena in 2018.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 10th and 11th, between the two weekend runs, Phish—comprised of Trey Anastasio (guitar, vocals), Jon Fishman (drums, vocals), Mike Gordon (bass, vocals), and Page McConnell (keys, vocals)—will return to Dayton, OH’s Wright State Nutter Center, a familiar venue that has long been part of the band’s lore thanks to a notable performance there more than a quarter-century ago on 12/7/97. Phish last performed at the Nutter Center in the summer of 2017.
A ticket request period is currently underway here and ends Monday, July 10th at noon ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Saturday, July 15th at 10:00 a.m. ET. Specific ticketing information for each show is available here.
Travel packages will be available for Nashville and Chicago.
