With Phish’s 10th festival, Magnaball, fast approaching, the band continues to roll out new information about the three-day bonanza at Watkins Glen, NY.

Having previously announced a number of great activities and charity outreaches, the band has revealed the name of the festival’s daily publication: Ball Street Journal. This follows in the tradition of Phish fest publications, like All About It, The Coventry Courier, The Festival 8 Express and Ball Things Reconsidered.

They’ve also set up a benefit for the WaterWheel Foundation, which will include a themed die-cut set designed by Jim Pollock. They’ll also be selling older posters, some of which will be autographed, and are teaming with Ben & Jerry’s for limited edition, commemorative Phish Food t-shirts. Ice cream sold separately!

The announcement also mentions a fully-functional US Post Office on site, so you can mail home your merchandise without having to worry about it. You can also mail letters to your friends back at home, making sure to highlight just how much fun you’re having at the festival.

Just to summarize, we have:

Seven scheduled sets of Phish

Game Shows and Yoga at Studio X

The first-ever Phish cocktail lounge

A Cornhole Tournament

JEMP Records store, with vinyl re-release of Rift

MagnaWater, MagnaBug, and Ben & Jerry’s on site

Can’t wait! See you all in Watkins Glen, NY for Magnaball, August 21-23.
