Ahead of their Labor Day triple-feature for this week’s Dinner and a Movie, Phish confirmed on Thursday that they will be shifting from a weekly schedule to a monthly schedule for the archival webcast/cooking series moving forward.
A statement shared to the band’s social media pages on Thursday reads,
Following this weekend’s festivities, Dinner And A Movie will downshift to an approximately once-a-month schedule. We know these nights have been (and will continue to be) important until we can be together again in person.
A huge thanks to all of you who have joined us on Tuesday nights, made dinner with us, and donated to one of the incredible non-profits The WaterWheel Foundation has selected every week. Together we’ve raised over $650,000 since we began in March. Mark your calendars — our next Dinner And A Movie will be on Tuesday, September 29!
Since launching back in late March, the band’s Dinner and a Movie webcasts have brought the Phish community together with the weekly virtual concert and dinner pairings as selected by the four members. As bands begin to get back to playing live via outdoor and drive-in performances, we’ve seen the frequency of these regular webcasts drop across the board. Heres to continuing Dinner and a Movie on a monthly basis into the fall and winter months—and, hopefully, to getting back out there in person sooner rather than later.
