After piloting the system at April’s Madison Square Garden run, Phish will implement the early entry lottery program for its upcoming 2022 spring tour, per an update from the band’s ticketing platform. The new system will allow fans with GA floor seats to enter into an online lottery system to gain first entry to the show.
Phish first announced the change back on April 18th, framing the lottery as a way for fans to avoid waiting in line for hours to secure a spot close to the stage. The system for the 2022 spring tour follows the same format as the rescheduled New Year’s Eve run, with fans registering in an online lottery 48 hours ahead of showtime. GA floor ticketholders must include their name, and the name of a friend if desired, on the form prior to 9 a.m. local time on the day of show. Names cannot be amended after the form is submitted, and no transfers will be granted.
“At approximately 3 p.m. on the day prior to each show we will select a limited number of fans to receive early entry. All entrants will receive an email notification of whether or not they were selected to be eligible for early entry,” the announcement read. “Those who are selected will receive an email with details on when and where to meet to enter the venue.”
