Phish stoked rumors of a possible trip to Japan in 2024 with the release of the band’s last show in the Land of the Rising Sun on June 16th, 2000 via LivePhish.

Recorded at Zepp Osaka in Osaka, Japan, the show was the final stop on Phish’s only true tour of the country and features selections from Farmhouse, which the band released just a month before the concert.

The release was received by fans as a nod to unconfirmed rumors of a possible Phish tour or festival in Japan in 2024. That speculation has been fueled by a few different things, including a homemade “Phish Phest 2024 Tokyo” sticker spotted on a Phish road case and a new webpage, phish.jp, that, translated from Japanese, cryptically reads, “The plan to delay the performance of the meat stick dance where 1000 hands dance the legendary Millennium soundtrack in Japan will continue in 2024 // Pre-sale goods will also be unveiled.” Phish has not given any indication that the Japan rumors are true.

Phish’s June 16th, 2000 concert at Zepp Osaka is now available to stream in the LivePhish App and to download here. View the full setlist below.
