Fandiem has announced FanAid LA, a new fundraising initiative to provide critical relief to those affected by the L.A. wildfires with prizes from Phish, Goose, Metallica, My Chemical Romance, Mariah Carey, Pearl Jam, Duran Duran, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Graham Nash, Slash, Sublime, and more.
All donations made to nonprofit partners including California Fire Foundation, Los Angeles Fire Department, Altadena Girls Fire Recovery, Vitalogy Foundation, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, and Baby2Baby automatically enter fans to win exclusive prizes and experiences ranging from autographed items and one-of-a-kind memorabilia to VIP experiences, meet-and-greets, and all-expense-paid flyaways. Among the top prizes are a trip to meet Sublime backstage at Red Rocks, an all-expense paid trip to meet “Weird Al” Yankovic at his show in Las Vegas, a Valentine’s Day trip to meet Mariah Carey in Las Vegas, a VIP trip to Dodgers Stadium to see My Chemical Romance and a band-signed guitar, an all-expense-paid VIP trip to meet Duran Duran in Italy, a show-played signed guitar and hometown meet-up with Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains in Seattle, and exclusive items signed by Metallica, Pearl Jam, Slash, Graham Nash, and more.
Phish is offering fans who donate to Waterwheel Foundation a trip to see the band on its upcoming West Coast run in the city of their choosing, with roundtrip travel to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, or Seattle, a 2, 3- or 4-night hotel stay depending on the city, and two tickets to all of Phish’s shows in that city. Options include two nights at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena (April 18th–19th) or San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (April 22nd–23rd), a single night at Portland’s Moda Center (April 20th), or the run’s three-night finale at L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl (April 25th–27th). Three runners-up will also be eligible to win tickets and a show poster.
Goose, meanwhile, is offering those who donate to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund a trip to meet the band at its Viva El Gonzo Festival in San José del Cabo. Fans can also donate to Femme House and Pasadena Humane for a chance to win a trip to meet LP Giobbi at CRSSD Festival in San Diego.
“FanAid LA embodies what Fandiem is all about—bringing fans, artists, and communities together to make a real difference,” said Jared Heiman, Co-Founder and CEO of Fandiem. “This initiative not only supports wildfire relief efforts but also ensures the funding keeps flowing as the need continues beyond the news cycle. New FanAid LA artists and prizes will be added throughout the year, so we can sustain this effort and maximize our impact for those affected in Los Angeles.”
