While we wait out the end of winter, fans across the country can take solace in the fact that Phish summer tour is just a few short months away!

Included on the iconic Vermont quartet’s extensive 27-date tour are five exciting dates in the Northeast: a two-night run at Hershey, PA’s Giant Center from August 11th-12th and a special three-night run on the beach on New Jersey’s Atlantic City Beach from August 14th-16th.

Phish’s 2020 run in Hershey, Pennsylvania will mark the band’s fifth- and sixth-ever shows in “The Sweetest Place on Earth” dating back to their debut at Hersheypark Arena in 1995, the same building in which NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain notched his record-setting 100-point game in 1962. Phish went on to play in Hershey three more times (in 1996, 2000, and 2010, respectively). Hershey, PA is well known for its sweets—and its massive theme park devoted to them—and Phish promises to make Tuesday, August 11th and Wednesday, August 12th even sweeter when the tour rolls into the chocolate-covered city.

Following the Hershey run, Phish will head to Atlantic City, New Jersey for an unprecedented three-night stand on the sand on Friday, August 14th, Saturday, August 15th, and Sunday, August 16th. While Phish has played in the beachside city on various occasions in the past, this will mark their first time playing on the beach in A.C. In fact, this will mark the band’s first time playing on any beach in the United States. As such, the Atlantic City run will play out like a “staycation” destination event—all the beach vibes without the lengthy, international travel. Leave your passport at home, grab your sun block and water wings, and enjoy a weekend on the sand with the Phish from Vermont.

Adding to the “special” nature of the Atlantic City run, the band is offering special “Foundation Tickets” for the three beachside shows. Foundation Tickets will include early admission, a dedicated viewing area, a Foundation lounge and bar and more. A portion of proceeds from each Foundation Ticket will benefit the band’s WaterWheel Foundation as well as the Atlantic City-based Surfrider Foundation. Full details about the Foundation Ticket for Atlantic City can be found here.

Tickets for Phish’s 2020 summer runs in Hershey, PA and Atlantic City, NJ go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 7th. For more information, or to purchase tickets when they are released, head here. For a full list of upcoming Phish tour dates, head to the band’s website.
