Phish will take over Madison Square Garden December 28th–31st, 2025, for its annual New Year’s Eve run, and with the band’s return to New York City comes the barrage of after-parties. CEG Presents‘ lineup of 2025 Phish After-Parties includes shows by Medeski Martin Metzger & Cline, Pink Talking Fish, Phish Radio’s Tad Cautious, and TalkPeck SoundSystem, a tribute to Talking Heads, Vulfpeck, and LCD Soundsystem featuring members of lespecial, Twiddle, and Houseplant [get tickets].
After Phish opens its MSG run on Sunday, December 28th, Pink Talking Fish will keep the party going at the Cutting Room with its patented blend of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish covers. Next, on Monday, December 29th, keyboardist John Medeski and drummer Billy Martin (Medeski Martin & Wood) and guitarists Scott Metzger (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead) and Nels Cline (Wilco) will kick off a two-night run at Le Poisson Rouge.
That same night, over at the Cutting Room, Luke Bemand (lespecial), Ben Atkind (Houseplant, formerly Goose), and Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle) will take part in a rare showing of TalkPeck Soundsystem, the hybrid tribute also featuring Matt McNulty (Host of Ghosts), Kiran Edwards (Residual Groove), and Isaac Young, plus special guests to be revealed.
Finally, CEG Presents’ After-Parties series will wrap on Tuesday, December 30th, with another night of Medeski Martin Metzger & Cline at Le Poisson Rouge, plus a Tad Cautious x Femme House Dance Party just seven blocks from MSG at Hill Country Live. Hosted by Phish SiriusXM The Bunny DJ Ted Cautious and female opportunity and empowerment non-profit Femme House, the late-night will feature Emily Bass and Cheetatah and rage until 3 a.m.
