Earlier this week, Phish opened up their 2019 summer tour with a two-night run at St. Louis, MO’s Chafeitz Arena, followed by three sets at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival over the weekend, which included a two-set headlining show to bring Bonnaroo to a close on Sunday. Following their triumphant opening week of tour, Phish has shared pro-shot videos of “Everything’s Right” from Bonnaroo, as well as an explosive “Run Like An Antelope” from St. Louis.
On Friday night, a third of the way into Phish’s rare one-set Bonnaroo performance, the band launched into “Everything’s Right”, opening up their most exploratory segment of the evening. Moving out of the song’s main theme, Page McConnell laid down a gritty lick on his clavinet, propelling the jam into ambient territory. Mike Gordon and Jon Fishman locked into a bouncy pocket, allowing Trey Anastasio his opportunity to propel “Everything’s Right” into a silky-smooth sonic landscape. Friday’s “Everything’s Right” marked the band’s longest jam of the evening before Phish crashed into “Mercury”.

On Wednesday night, Phish offered up the second performance of their tour opening run at St. Louis’ Chafeitz Arena. The electric performance will be one that St. Louis Blues fans will not soon forget—and enjoying their Stanley Cup victory with help from Phish was just icing on the cake. Throughout the first set, each time the Blues would score a goal, the crowd would erupt in cheers. As the game wound down during “Run Like An Antelope”, Trey tossed in some teases of 80s pop hit and newly minted Blues victory anthem, “Gloria”—a sign of what was to come.
