Fans and performers alike braved the elements on Friday, with temperatures hovering around 33 degrees when the show started as light snow dusted the iconic amphitheater. The concert was originally due to schedule The Game, though a last-minute substitution brought DJ Quik to the stage instead. The Compton rapper/producer known for his work developing the G-funk style kicked off the show and kept things classic.

Cleveland-born four-piece (formerly five-piece) Bone Thugs-N-Harmony were up next for some melodic rhymes ahead of the headlining performance from Ice Cube. The rap icon kept things hot on the mountaintop as he ran through his nearly 40-year career with nods to groups N.W.A. and Westside Connection along with his extensive solo career.
