Nashville indie-rock outfit Moon Taxi recently kicked off a lengthy tour behind the quintet’s acclaimed 2021 LP, Silver Dream, featuring support from DJ duo Sparkle City Disco. The two acts heralded the start of the tour with the release of a Sparkle City Disco remix of 2013 Moon Taxi hit, “Morrocco”.

Over the weekend, Moon Taxi and Sparkle City Disco took the young tour to Colorado for a pair of performances with notably different vibes. First, on Saturday, August 28th, the Silver Dream tour stopped in Denver for a blowout at the Ogden Theatre. The following night, Sunday, August 29th, Moon Taxi and Sparkle City Disco headed into the mountains for a significantly more intimate performance at Belly Up in Aspen.
