This Thursday, June 12th at NYC’s Highline Ballroom, which also happens to begin after The Disco Biscuits play their first show of a three-night run at Irving Plaza, Phutureprimitive, Govinda, Branx, and Technicolor Lenses will be playing a late-night dance party that is sure to enlighten all of your auditory and visual senses.

Phutureprimitive‘s musical style is best described as “dripping wet love drops of nasty mind melting sonic bliss.” There is something innately profound about his style that lends itself to being tranquil and beautiful, yet dark and dense, hypnotic and kinetic, while also being downright dirty. A Phutureprimitive set needs to be experienced to truly understand; it will speak to both your mind and soul.

Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin based producer/composer Shane Madden. A student of the violin and composition since the age of eight, Shane went on to study classical violin at the University of Texas, where electronic music production began to cement a place in his heart. After his discovery of gypsy roots, he opened his ears to the various genres and styles of music from around the world. From experiences learning violin with mysterious masters on his journeys across the globe and his passion for modern design and technology, the current sound of Govinda was born.

The four members of Technicolor Lenses collaboratively produce instrumentals and electronic beats together, fusing their own live aspects into their many layers of sound, including an undeniable appreciation for the basic tenets of Hip-Hop. TechLenses is also known to feature a wide array guest producers, musicians, and mcs in both recordings and live performance. And Branx is some future funk with colossal beats out of Baltimore.

Tickets for this incredible late-night lineup are only $15. Get your tickets here.
