Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are looking to make 2020 another big year filled with more new music.

On Tuesday, the funk-rock band from the Baltimore area announced their follow-up studio album to 2017’s Pizazz will arrive at some point in 2020. The announcement also confirmed that their next new single, “Dawn A New Day”, will arrive on to streaming services this Friday, November 8th as the follow-up to the previously-released “King Kong”.

PPPP has yet to share any details on their next studio album, but a pair of new singles should keep their growing legion of fans in “The Flock” happy through the holidays and heading into next year. Fans should presume the new album will arrive at some point in the late winter or spring, just in time for the start of the 2020 festival season.

Pigeons recently wrapped their Halloween run of shows throughout the northeast at Boston’s House of Blues, NYC’s PlayStation Theater, and New Haven, CT’s College Street Music Hall.

The band will gather their Flock of fans in Washington, D.C. for a “hometown throwdown” on December 6th and 7th, where they’ll host the biggest headlining show of their career thus far with a live debut at The Anthemlespecial will serve as support on 12/6 at the 9:30 club, while Here Come the Mummies will get the festivities started on 12/7 at The Anthem. Tickets to the 12/6 show at the 9:30 Club are only available as part of a two-night weekend pass.
