Pigeons Playing Ping Pong made its debut on the popular “Jam In The Van” YouTube series Monday night. The recurring concert series caught up with Pigeons in Los Angeles following the band’s two-night run at The Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA with Goose.

The avian quartet ran through a medley of fan-favorites during the 40-minute clip, kicking off with “Poseidon”, which ran for an impressive 11 minutes despite the condensed nature of “Jam In The Van”. Even though Pigeons was merely playing for an audience of “JITV” crew members, frontman Greg Ormont still engaged in some patented stage banter as he thanked “the people clapping on their couches at home.” After that, the band ran through a rendition of “Sail On” from the recently-released Presto album that saw a much briefer and conventional performance for the YouTube series.

After some more stage banter, where Ormont revealed that bassist Ben Carrey had been to a taping of The Price Is Right earlier that day, Pigeons launched into “High As Five“, another single from Presto. With just under seven minutes left, the band ran through the infectiously-upbeat “Dawn A New Day” to close out the “Jam In The Van” performance.
