Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have always been about the letter P. Between their albums Pleasure and Psychology, and their alliterative band name, there’s always been an affinity for P. After many years, the band finally embraced their P love with a “Brought To You By The Letter P” show on Halloween, fittingly at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA.
Pigeons treated the capacity crowd to their funky originals, mixed in a number of fan-favorite covers into their show, most of which started with the letter P. Songs included Guns N’ Roses “Paradise City,” The Doors’ “Peace Frog,” Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs,” Pink Floyd’s “Pigs (3 Different Ones),” Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music,” The Who’s “Pinball Wizard,” Michael Jackson’s “P.Y.T.,” and a number of theme songs like “Pink Panther,” “Pinky And The Brain,” “Peanuts” and more!
