The trifecta of tribute bands, Pink Talking Fish, has announced their summer tour plans, which will keep the popular covers outfit on the road starting over Memorial Day Weekend and running until Labor Day.
Announced on Tuesday, the popular tribute band–which fills their setlists with songs originally penned by Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish–will head out for a run of 21 performances beginning with their appearance at StrangeCreek Campout in Greenfield, MA on May 24th. The run of summer shows will see the band visiting a mix of festivals, outdoor concert series, some indoor events, and shows themed around pre and post-show parties for Phish, Dead & Company and Umphrey’s McGee.

Notable festivals at which the band will perform over the summer include California’s OC Music Festival; New York’s Disc Jam Music Festival, Great South Bay Music Festival, and Adirondack Independence Music Festival; Oregon’s 4 Peaks Music Festival, and Vermont’s Bear North Festival. The run will also see the band linking up with Phish’s summer tour for afterparties at Atomic Cowboy in Saint Louis, MO (6/11-12); Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, ME (6/25); and the House of Blues in Boston MA (7/6); although it’s worth noting that the Saint Louis shows will be that of an after-party on the first night (6/11), and a pre-party on the second (6/12).
The band will also link up with Dead & Company’s summer run with an afterparty at the Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL on 6/15, in addition to an Umphrey’s afterparty at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ on 8/30.
The tour announcement comes a few weeks following the departure of guitarist Dave Brunyak, who has since been replaced by Cal Kehoe. The band is currently in the tail end of their ongoing spring tour, which is scheduled to wrap on May 18th with a show at Bluegrass In The Bottoms in Kansas City MO.
