Pink Talking Fish has just announced two amazingly-themed Halloween shows! The band, known for its hybrid tribute fusion of Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads, and Phish, will perform on back to back nights, October 30th and 31st, at The Middle East in Cambridge, MA.

It starts on October 30th, where the band will debut an Animals themed performance. Playing off of Pink Floyd’s acclaimed 1977 album, the band is sure to incorporate various Talking Heads and Phish tunes into the Animals experience, including various animal-themed tunes from each band’s catalog. If it’s anything like their Dark Side of the Moon set, prepare for a great night ahead.

On Halloween proper, PTF will dive into the mystical world of Gamehendge, a rock opera written by Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio in the mid-1980s as a senior thesis at Goddard College. With songs like “Wilson,” “The Lizards,” “Llama” and more, this is sure to make for a fantastic Halloween!

If you can’t wait until October to get your PTF fix, be sure to catch them playing a number of pre- and post- parties surrounding the Grateful Dead 50th anniversary “Fare Thee Well” concerts in Chicago. PTF will be playing a very special “Pink Talking Fish Are Dead” show that will include some Dead tracks mixed in with the Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish tunes. Shortly thereafter, Gould & co. will head to NYC on July 10th for back-to-back shows on the Rocks Off Boat Cruise! Get tickets and more information here.
