Pixies fans get another gift to go along with their world tour kicking off next week. They recently released a four song EP that was recorded at Rockfield Studios in the United Kingdom, marking this EP the first musical release from the band since 1991′s Trompe le Monde. The EP is called EP-1.

Despite the change of bassists, the credit was given where it was due. Rolling Stone commented on the EP, “Though bassist Kim Shattuck recently joined the band to replace the departed Kim Deal, the bass parts are credited to Ding.” Ding being the interim bassist that filled in for Kim Deal after her exit from the band.

Consequence of Sound wrote about the track, “Indie Cindy” where Frank Black croons, “I’m in love with your daughter. And though she has no means. I’m the one who’s got some tractors. You’ve many mouths to feed.” They also included a video below:
