In his latest video, popular YouTube content creator MrBeast puts contestants through a series of laser mazes and obstacle courses that make Mission: Impossible look like child’s play. In a post on social media, Greg Ellis, otherwise known as LazerShark, explains that he helped create the various laser courses for the video during his downtime on the ongoing Pretty Lights tour.

MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is among the most influential creators on the YouTube platform. With more than 206 million subscribers, he is the most-subscribed individual on the platform. He took the top spot on the Forbes list of highest-paid YouTubers in 2022. His videos often involve putting unsuspecting bystanders through various challenges in pursuit of large cash prizes.

“Every once in a while you get a call to do something completely batshit crazy. Well, not so long ago [MrBeast] reached out and asked me to help him create one his most ambitious videos to date,” LazerShark said of the project in his post. “Over the course of 3 weeks in between rocking the [Pretty Lights] tour we created 10 of the most wild laser obstacle courses ever conceived with the help of my friends at [PyrotecnicoFX]. A truly once in a lifetime experience I will surely never forget.”
