On Tuesday, September 30th, Prince’s legacy continues with the launch of two new albums that will infuse the essence of his past with his consistently funky future. Although his most recent performances and online releases have been peppered with tastes of his new solo album Art Official Age as well as teasers from his collaboration with 3rdEyeGirl, Plectrumelectrum, Prince will be bearing all at the event “Plectrumelectrumartofficialage” at 9:30 p.m. CST, on September 30th.

Appropriately taking place at Paisley Park Studios in Minnesota, which was founded after the success of Purple Rain in 1985, the event will offer a deeper look into 3rdEyeGirl and the behind-the-scenes excitement during the albums’ productions. Fans will be able to feel like part of the experience, which is shown via Yahoo! Screen Live.

Both albums will showcase the timeline that is Prince, mixing influences from the 80’s sex symbol that initiated his career with the unique rock creations that saturate his current style. Determined to please fans who lie on all ends of the Prince spectrum, his solo album is said to be geared towards “classic Prince” while his work with his female trio will represent “an electrifying funk-rock statement,” according to the man himself.

Long time Prince fan or new to the game, the video released last October, “Breakfast Can Wait” (watch below), makes it difficult not to get excited about the premiere of these two albums.  Other already-publicized chillers from the new albums include “Funknroll,” “Breakdown” and “U Know.” These sneak peaks ensure that the spicy beats radiating from Minnesota tomorrow will be making waves all across America.
