Prince’s “Piano & A Microphone” tour will continue this Friday, March 4 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. The venue, which holds 20,000 people will be in stark contrast to the intimate solo shows the Purple One has already hit on this tour, playing to small crowds in Australia, New Zealand and Oakland, CA thus far.

Prince has upped the ante by hyping the show as a “can’t miss,” saying he will dedicate the first hour of his concert to “show off his b-ball skills” in a Twitter post. Oracle Arena is the home to the defending NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors. As many will recall from the hilarious Chappelle’s Show sketch featuring comedian Charlie Murphy, there is ample precedent of Prince being a pretty good hooper, so there could be more to this than we think.

Tickets for Prince’s solo concert at Oracle Arena are on sale now and can be purchased through the venue’s website here.
