Celebrated English rock outfit Queen and its latter-day frontman, Adam Lambert, rocked a sold-out crowd at Atlanta, GA’s State Farm Arena on Monday as their latest North American Rhapsody Tour outing continues.
The Rhapsody Tour first dazzled audiences and critics in 2019 with state-of-the-art stage design, incredible special effects and set pieces, multiple stages, and 150 minutes of regal selections from Queen’s beloved catalog including “Another One Bites The Dust”, “Bicycle Race”, “Fat Bottomed Girls”, “Killer Queen”, “Somebody To Love”, “Under Pressure”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “We Will Rock You”, and “We Are The Champions”. After a lengthy hiatus, the tour picked back up last year with dates in the U.K. and Europe. The tour returned to the States earlier this month and is set to run through early November, when the band will step outdoors for a pair of shows at BMO Stadium (November 11th, November 12th).
The 2023 North American tour features original Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor alongside singer Adam Lambert of American Idol fame, who has been filling the late Freddie Mercury‘s massive shoes with the band since 2011. They are supported onstage by their regular band members, long-serving Queen keyboard player Spike Edney, bass guitarist Neil Fairclough, and percussionist Tyler Warren.
