The Raconteurs have shared a pair of new recordings exclusively on the newly-launched Amazon Music HD premium streaming platform, the latest arm of the e-commerce giant, which launched today.

The two new recordings are that of the band’s cover of “I’m Your Puppet”, a tune originally penned by Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham and made famous by James & Bobby Purify, and a new take on “Now That You’re Gone”, one of the original tracks that appeared on The Raconteurs’ new studio album, 2019’s Help Us Stranger. The band’s take on “I’m Your Puppet” strolls along with a light-hearted feel thanks to some livening piano notation.
The two recordings were performed live by the band last month during a session at Muscle Shoals, AL’s FAME Studios. The band shared a behind-the-scenes video from their time in the studio to go with the new recordings on Tuesday. Watch the clip below.

The Raconteurs’ ongoing fall tour is set to continue throughout September and October before wrapping on November 18th with a sold-out show at Mexico City’s Plaza Condesa.
