Radiohead’s New Album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ Is Finally Here

Two days ago, the mysteriousness of Radiohead continued when they shared a new single, “Daydreaming,” and revealed that they would be releasing their highly anticipated album today, Sunday the 8th at 2PM EST. With no details as far as the album’s title, artwork, or tracklisting, the album finally went live on iTunes about an hour ago and is currently available on the band’s website. 

Entitled A Moon Shaped Pool, the band’s “LP 9” comes five years after their 2011 The King of Limbs. The record includes eleven songs, including both “Daydreaming” and “Burn The Witch,” which they had released earlier this week. The tracklist also includes songs previously performed live by Radiohead, like “Ful Stop,” “Identikit,” “Present Tense,” and “Desert Island Disk.” The debut of “True Love Waits” goes all the way back to their 2001 live EP, I Might Be Wrong.

With seven of the eleven songs being somewhat familiar, we are left with four new tunes to sit back and enjoy the life of Radiohead’s newest work. The album’s tracklist goes as follows:

Radiohead will be hitting the road for their world tour this summer, starting May the 20th in Amsterdam, and arriving in the United States for two nights at Madison Square Garden on July 26 & 27. This morning, news broke that drummer Clive Dreamer from Portishead would also be joining Radiohead on the road, with a post on Dreamer’s website, saying he’s “looking forward to [Radiohead’s] first gig in Amsterdam” with the below photo of him sitting atop an equipment case.
