UPDATE 11:45 PM: Billboard has reported that Prophets of Rage is actually a supergroup comprised of RATM members, as well as Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Cypress Hill’s B-Real. More on that here.
It’s been five long years since fans have seen a Rage Against The Machine concert, but that looks to be changing. According to a number of intriguing clues, it seems that the band is teasing a major event called “Prophets Of Rage” this summer.
The first clue comes from a new counter on a new website, ProphetsOfRage.com, which is reportedly counting down to June 1st. While the website seems to currently be down from overuse, it seems the band’s reunion is all but imminent.
Not only that, but mysterious “Prophets Of Rage” posters have been popping up all over Los Angeles, CA. Take a look below:

In addition to all of this, anyone who entered their email on the Prophets of Rage website were greeted with a message that said “Clear the way for the prophets of rage,” a line from a Public Enemy song titled, you guessed it, “Prophets Of Rage.” Public Enemy’s Chuck D has recently shared a handful of RATM clips online, only fueling the speculation that Public Enemy is involved in this major announcement:

While the band has never ruled out a reunion in their five-year hiatus, it will be interesting to see just what “Prophets Of Rage” entails!
