Railroad Earth traveled to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY  on Saturday for the latest stop on the band’s winter/spring tour. The show arrived one day after the band’s new single, “Come And Go Moon”, set to appear on its forthcoming album, All For The Song. The ten-song, Anders Osborne-produced LP is out on April 22nd.

Following an opening set from Cris Jacobs, Railroad Earth took the storied Port Chester stage. For the band’s March run of shows, Railroad Earth is joined by Sam Armstrong-Zickefoose on banjo, lap steel, and guitar. The touring septet celebrated its new single in the second set, placing it among classics including “Dandelion Wine”, “Old Man and the Land”, and more.

“I spent a number of my formative years as a musician traveling to New Orleans as often as I could and it’s sound has had a huge influence on me,” bassist Andrew Altman said of “Come And Go Moon”, which he wrote years ago but never committed to an album. “I’m really happy with the way this tune evolved from such a personal sentiment to a real New Orleans-inspired band sound.”
