Veteran metal band Rammstein is currently gearing up for their highly anticipated return to North America when their first-ever stadium run in the U.S. and Canada begins on August 20th in Montreal, QC. The Germany-based band sent waves through the hard-rock community back in late January when they initially announced their first shows in the U.S. since 2011 this summer, but they’ve since wowed fans online for another reason pertaining to their upcoming tour.

Last week, the band shared a timelapse video showcasing their own monstrous Wall Of Sound-inspired stage setup and P.A. system for the upcoming tour, which looks nothing less than absolutely apocalyptic.

A 2:38-minute video shared to the band’s YouTube page last Thursday showcases the timelapse of the road crew setting up the monstrous stage for the 2020 stadium tour at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion in Dresden, Germany. The stage and P.A. setup takes 60 hours to assemble starting with laying the ground foundation atop the soccer stadium’s grass. After the flooring is set, the crew goes upward as they begin to assemble the massive scaffolding that will hold up what looks to be literal tons of equipment. The trucks are then filed in one-by-one where workers unload an actual wall’s worth of speakers, lights, and staging platforms which will no doubt make Rammstein’s performances a total one-of-a-kind experience.
