This summer, the revered Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO celebrates its 77th anniversary. In honor of that milestone, the venue has compiled a special collection of live recordings from notable performances throughout the venue’s history. The collection, titled Red Rocks Live, features 20 live tracks by a slew notable artists new and old artists spread over three LPs.
The compilation includes performances by everyone from The Grateful Dead (“Ship of Fools”, 7/8/78) to U2 (“New Years Day”, 6/5/83) to Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings (“You’ll Be Lonely”, 6/13/15), to Widespread Panic (“Ain’t Life Grand”, 6/24/16) to The String Cheese Incident (“Black Clouds”, 9/6/03) and beyond.
