Coastal Rhode Island’s Rhythm & Roots Festival has revealed the full list of artists due to perform at each day of its 27th edition during Labor Day Weekend 2025.

The GoodWorks Entertainment Group-produced festival will begin on Friday, August 29th with headliner Little Feat in addition to Lettuce, Asleep At The Wheel, New Breed Brass Band, JD Simo & Luther Dickinson, Della Mae, The Free Label, Johnny Mullenax, Funky Dawgz, Adam Ezra Group, and Planet Zydeco.

On Saturday, August 30th, Blackberry Smoke will top a bill also featuring Molly Tuttle, Duane Betts & Palmetto Hotel, George Porter Jr. & Runnin Pardners, Donna The Buffalo, Knickerbocker All-Stars, Copilot, TAE & The Neighborly, Two Runner, Wayne Singleton & Same Ol’ 2 Step, and Sneezy.

Rhythm & Roots Festival 2025 will finally come to a close on Sunday, August 31st with Trampled by Turtles, The Wood Brothers, Steve Earle, Mountain Grass Unit, Donna The Buffalo, Joe Louis Walker’s Big Band, Griffin William Sherry, The Last Revel, Wayne Singleton & Same Ol’ 2 Step, Jake Swamp & The Pine, and more. In addition, all three days will feature sets by The Revelers, Sunpie & The Louisiana Sunspots, Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys, and Balfa Toujours.

Rhythm & Roots Festival offers onsite camping beside the picturesque waterfront Ninigret Park but caps camping at 1,500 to maintain an intimate atmosphere. Thursday entry is available for those camping. Inside the festival, fans will have culinary options as diverse as their musical options, with the blend of folk, country, R&B, zydeco, and bluegrass matched with barbecue, Thai, jambalaya, and other local favorites. During the day, attendees are encouraged to discover what Rhode Island’s South County has to offer, from ocean beaches, casinos, block island ferries, historic villages, and many other activities.
