Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe’s late night Grateful Dead “Fare Thee Well” party just got an instant boost of pedal steel soul, as the sacred steel legend himself, Robert Randolph, was added as opening support. The show is part of the Music Never Stopped series surrounding the Grateful Dead performances at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL.

The Music Never Stopped: Series of ‘Fare Thee Well’ Pre and Post Parties Announced

The show will take place on the evening of July 3rd, after the Dead reunion show, at the Concord Music Hall. The show begins at 11 PM, giving Dead fans ample time to get over to Concord and catch Randolph wailing on his pedal steel. Randolph was also a guest during Karl Denson’s recent run at the Brooklyn Bowl, so we’re certainly hopeful for some cross-collaboration throughout the night.
