This morning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame officials announced the performers and special guests who will appear at the 2015 inductee ceremony, to take place in Cleveland, OH on April 18. Live For Live Music has previously revealed that the musicians to be inducted this year are Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Lou Reed, Ringo Starr, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Bill Withers, and the “5” Royales. Now we know who will induct them.

Peter Wolf will induct Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Fall Out Boy will induct Green Day, Patti Smith will induct Lou Reed, Paul McCartney will induct Ringo Starr, John Mayer will induct Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, and Steve Cropper will induct the “5” Royales. Other special guests, including the person(s) set to induct Joan Jett and Bill Withers will be announced at a later date.

Hall of fame officials also revealed that Dave Grohl, Beck, Joe Walsh, Tom Morello, Jimmy Vaughan, and John Legend will be performing at the ceremony. It is safe to say that there will be an incredible amount of star power in attendance at this year’s induction celebration. HBO is scheduled to air the full events from the 2015 ceremony on May 30th.
