When Kesha visited The Tonight Show last week, she teamed up with The Roots to record a cover of “The House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals. While the singer occupied her television time to deliver a rendition of her own “Praying,” she still used the opportunity to collaborate with Questlove and company backstage for a deeper dive into music history with the 1964. An unlikely pair, we know, but it’s always nice to see pop stars pay homage to pioneers of rock and roll.
