Roots Picnic w/ The Roots, De La Soul, Kid Cudi, James Murphy, Major Lazer, etc.

Every year, legendary hip hop artists The Roots bring their talents, as well as a bunch of their friends, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a huge picnic filled with food, drinks, and music. Today, The Root’s announced their line-up for the 2012 picnic, featuring a variety of artists of different musical backgrounds. Headlining, of course, are The Roots themselves, as well as legendary hip hop trio De La Soul, who will also be backed by The Roots, and current hip hop star Kid Cudi. In support, DJ sets from James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, and Diplo.
