Guitarist John Scofield, keyboardist John Medeski, drummer Billy Martin, and bassist Jesse Murphy, known formally as Scofield, Medeski, Murphy & Martin—or Bandemic—were the latest group of musicians to come together to deliver an online performance for fans to enjoy from the safety of their homes as many Americans remain inside to prevent the communal spread of COVID-19.

On Thursday the quartet aired their pre-taped studio performance, which took place in Saugerties, NY on March 17th for Woodstock Sessions.

A statement shared with the event page reads, “During this difficult and confusing time while live experiences are on hold, Woodstock Sessions, John Medeski, John Scofield, Billy Martin, and Jesse Murphy are honored to give you this music.”

“Last jam for a while I think,” Scofield also added in a post to his Facebook on March 17th. “Stay safe and practice social distancing everyone.”
