Today, a brand-new festival called Sea.Hear.Now Festival announced its inaugural lineup, which will see headlining performances by Jack Johnson and Incubus as well as sets from Social Distortion, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Brandi Carlile, Milky Chance, Blondie, Kaleo, The Front Bottoms, Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, and more. The festival has also tapped notable acts including Soja, G. Love & Special Sauce, Deer Tick, Rayland Baxter, Nicole Atkins, and others for its first year.

Sea.Hear.Now Festival will take place at North Beach Asbury Park and Bradley Park in Asbury Park, New Jersey on September 29th and 30th. In addition to 25 bands across three beachside stages, the festival distinguishes itself by merging music with art and surf culture. For example, a number of professional surfers—Sam Hammer, Balaram Stack, Rob Kelly, Mike Gleason, Quincy Davis, Andrew Gesler, Pat Schmidt, Clay Pollioni, Tom Ihnken, Cassidy McClain and more—will be on hand and in the water for “Expression Sessions” throughout the event.

Another highlight of the event will be the “Transparent Gallery,” which will see rock photographer, filmmaker, and Jersey Shore native Danny Clinch showcasing his famed images of various artists on the lineup. As Clinch explained in a press release,”Sea.Hear.Now is a long time dream of ours. To have our musician, surfer and artist friends come to Asbury Park this September to play some music, ride some waves and make some art.” He continues, “We come from the Jersey Shore and we believe in Asbury Park. It is one of the coolest beach cities in America, if not the world. We are ready to go!”
