On Sunday, September 18th, Green Day will round out a lineup featuring Cage The Elephant, The Head and the Heart, IDLES, Courtney Barnett, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Tai Verdes, Shakey Graves, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Cimafunk, The Little Mermen, Calder Allen, Lost In Society, and The Vansaders.
The sound waves will once again meet the ocean waves in the water between the Surf and Sand Stage in 2022. Of note, this year’s Sea.Hear.Now surfing attractions will include the introduction of “The North Beach Rumble” surf contest. The contest will feature two teams captained by East Coast legends Cory Lopez and Sam Hammer and will showcase the best women and men on the Eastern seaboard—like returning champions Cassidy McClain and Eric Geiselman—competing for a prize purse and bragging rights awarded for the best overall style and creativity.
In addition, Asbury Park legend and renowned photographer Danny Clinch will bring his Transparent Gallery back to Sea.Hear.Now to showcase artwork from musicians on the lineup along with impromptu performances and talks by the exhibit’s contributing artists.
A variety of ticket types will go on sale Wednesday, March 9th via the Sea.Hear.Now website. Children ages seven and under may attend for free alongside a ticketed adult.
