Over the past few years, Shanin Blake has gone from being an Instagram model to achieving viral status as a musician and producer. Marrying her often risqué hippie aesthetic with deeply personal lyrics about her life and free-spirited philosophy, Blake has attracted attention with her viral videos, filmed mostly in her car, and recently made the jump to playing live shows. After a few festival appearances this fall, she is set to play her first headline show at Denver’s Larimer Lounge on December 7th, and tickets are sold out, including the VIP meet and greet.

While her over-the-top looks and unabashed heady vibes have drawn criticism from some on the internet, Blake’s inspirational messages of perseverance and positivity have struck a chord with fans. She has been candid in her music about her struggles as a single mother and independent artist, and fans have been along for the ride as she has gone from living in her car to achieving success, with over ten million streams on Spotify alone last year.
